A dizzy feeling in my mind,
Gashes north breeze from behind.
Broken glasses here and there,
A robbery, i fear.
The dark hallway stood before,
Felt so scary never before.
Up the staircase, i had a feeling,
Down my soul, kept me pulling.
As i neared my childhood room,
Happy memories kept swirling like a fume.
Entering the room a bit slow,
Something whispered,"Look below".
A man lying on the floor,
Off this realm, he is no more!
Closing in, my blood went cold,
'Foolish, i'm only you', the bloody corpse told.
"FINDIND MYSELF DEAD"
By Subhadip Chakraborty
Very good indeed! Vivid description of a Ghost's mind, or whatsoever.
ReplyDeleteSomehow the poem reminded me of the story "Anathbabur Voy" by Satyajit Ray. The climax of that story was also about finding a man in front of his own deadbody.
