MY NAME IS AIR

I was there,
When there was no one,
Polluted and poisonous i was,
Yet, i was there.

No life was there,
No layer of hydrosphere,
Chunks and chunks of rocks everywhere,
And numerous clusters,
Of eternal fire spitting giants.

I was there,
When the skies,
Breathed fire,
Poured fire onto the earth,
Moulding and remoulding its shape.
Giving it seeds of a greener future.

I was there,
When a big ugly rock hit us,
It almost destroyed me,
But it gave birth,
To the ever beautiful moon,
Who like an eternal lover,
Hovers over us,
And looks after us each night.

I was there,
When the earth slowly cooled,
I was there,
When water was formed,
Which the moon strongly pulled.

I was lonely no more.
She, the beautiful grey sea was there.
As the years flew,
Younger and younger she grew,
From grey to the lovely blue.
Though slowly yet steadily,
Even i got purified,
Purged by her love.

I was there,
When the huge tides,
Washed the rocks,
Bringing transformation,
I was there,
When the primordial soup was under construction.
I saw life to form,
I saw it to evolve,
I saw how quickly,
The colour changes,
From dull grey,
To blue, green, oranges.
And when i thought i've seen everything,
I saw them rise.

I was there,
When Adam ate the apple,
I was there all along,
I saw the world change,
Fast and swift.
I saw them love,
With everything they got,
And i saw them kill for nothing atall.
I saw their purity,
And saw their cruelty.
I saw their generosity,
And even their insanity.

I was there,
When they jump started the end,
I saw how easily,
They ripped their planet apart.
I was there,
And i cried,
When they poisoned her,
I was helpless,
Yes, i was,
As they are killing me too,
I loved them,
I adored them,
But now i have no choice,
But to choke them to death.

I was there,
When this world was born,
And im here now,
When its dying,
My journey was,
It was lovely,
But as every joyride,
Comes to an end,
So will mine,
But the only thing,
I wish from you,
Is to remember me.

Because i was there,
I am still here,
As my name is AIR.

LAST NIGHT I DREAMT

Last night i dreamt of the world,
A World grasped in the fear of destruction,
I saw the devastation that we have brought on ourselves.
I saw the panic stricken flock,
Running hither and thither,
Mourning at their loss.

Last night i dreamt,
And i saw the monsterous buildings fall,
Like a house of cards,
And innocent people die in it.
I saw,
The so called megastructures,
To fall apart.

I was scared,
But i dreamt on,
I saw the pain,
I saw the suffering,
I saw the evil that we do,
And the evil that our doings return us with.
Both equally devastating,
Like an eternal feud between earth and heaven,
Last night i saw His wrath.

I saw the skies spit fire,
I saw them raining ashes.
And the most unlikely thing i saw,
Was a filthy scumbag beg for mercy.

But alas! The Gods said,
I heard,
"You had chance but now its over."
And i saw
The world crumble,
Into nothingness,
From where it was born.

A ROAD ACCIDENT

Dark lanes crowded behind,
Dark lanes ahead.
Yet i see the endless road,
That lies beyond me.
A familiar pain of infinite sorrow
Flowing through my veins,
Like theres no tomorrow.
Like theres no tomorrow.

A sudden invasion of gushing winds,
Thumping my eardrum.
Pinching my soul,
Like its nothing but a filthy scum,
And the eerie tone of the bloody night,
Keeps crawling under my skin.

The night is full of omens,
I see the owls hoot,
From far and far away,
I could hear, the Devils boot.
And i feel really scared,
No shame, maybe i should.
To only call the Divine's name,
Is all that i really could.

I want to end this journey,
I want to end this road,
No matter, howmuch i run from it,
It appears more and more,
But now im all spent up,
Escape is not a choice anymore,
My only road to return,
Ive a left a long way before.

Now u see me,
Im staning,
Staring right into the darkness,
And then i see it slowly fading,
And the light rises from beneth.

It slowly covers my entire face,
It blocks my power to see,
And the i hear the skidding tires,
But then it was too late for me.

YET ANOTHER PARADOX

Dark night, dark skies,
A dark lonely road,
Early winter's mist in the air,
And the neighbourhood's silent.
It's ides of november,
A friday night then,
And i'm all alone,
In my apartment.

Sitting on that wooden chair,
Rocking to and fro,
The smoke slowly rises above,
And the ashes lie below.
With every tik,
And every tok,
Of the timeless weary clock,
My head feels heavier,
My mind closes its doors.
And the lazy noise of cricket,
Pulls me into a trance,
And my eyes can bear no more.

Then twice rang the bell,
It was 2o clock then,
Cold breeze is sneaking into the room,
Sending the chills down my spine,
And even the deepest of my dreams,
Can feel,
That i've tripped over the Line.

The rooms suddenly dark,
And im wide awake,
What hath happened?
This must be a mistake.
Am i dreaming,
Or am i awake.
My head still hurts,
This isnt fake.

Staring out the window,
I can see,
The whole world looks dead,
And i pondered
'Why only me?'
Then amidst all the darkness,
That has shrouded every inch of space,
I see a light,
A light i can see,
Across the lane,
Beside the wise oak tree,
And i see a man,
Standing near the window,
Staring right at me.

Im not alone,
Not alone,
In this world of pain,
Where, from once the stage,
U fall, u cant regain.
Where every human feeds,
On the flesh of humanity,
And embraces the door to insanity.
In this world of chaos,
Im not alone.

But look closely,
He looks right at me,
But it seems to me,
He looks right through me.

But look closely,
He looks right at me,
But it seems to me,
He looks right through me.
At first i felt,
Some warmth in those eyes.
Now i see the blood,
Beneath that lies.
The more i tense my eyes,
To see the shadowy man,
The more he mystifies.

Oh! my eyes,
They're as heavy as lead,
Is it the evening booze?
That do reflect.
The man's gone,
Not even a shadow present,
Maybe i was wasted,
My senses imperfect.
Maybe it was a dream,
A hallucination,
That i should neglect.
But what is that,
Its the man again,
And i'm not incorrect.

Outside the room,
In the verandah he stood,
Jumped off!
I just stared,
There was nothing that i could.
Suddenly my blood went cold,
My heart went numb,
A rush of emotions,
I fell on the chair,
And for the night,
I was done.

Seven years has passed since then,
Never saw the man again,
Never truly realized,
What that night happened.
And i never felt the same again.

Until tonight,
I saw the man again,
Only this time,
He was sitting in the chair,
And it was me,
Who was intently staring.

Maybe some windows,
Should never be opened.

¿IDENTITY?

Often when im alone,
When im lonely,
Brooding in the dark,
Or just sitting blankly,
I ask myself a question.
A question so easy,
Yet so tough.
Often when im lonely,
I ask to thyself,
Who am i? Who am i really?

Am i just a name,
With no meaning, no goals,
Am i just a fleeting dust,
In this ocean of chaos,
Or am i something,
Something more.
Am i just a sheep in the herd,
Or am i lion,
Will i vanish into the dark,
Or will i be heard.
Who am i? Who am i really?
I dont know the answer,
And i feel already tired.

I know i think a lot,
And do so less,
That is my prime fault,
That i do confess.
I plan so that i dont fall,
But the thousand feet pit,
Is the only thing that i recall.
But no matter how great i fall,
I know, i feel, its not over,
Not over at all.

I know im lazy,
I know im shy,
I maybe an introvert,
But i aint gonna cry.
Coz i believe,
I believe in him,
And i believe in i,
That i will myself to live,
And i will not die.
And the gory decades,
I will survive,
Then once a lovely day,
I will say goodbye.

This not a frenzied dream, i dreamt,
Not a verdict of my troubled heart,
But it is the spoken of my soul,
That this is what i am.

But theres a notion in my mind,
Some commotion in my brain,
That a confusion is brewing,
And looming large again,
I know i have faith,
So does everyone,
But the only question that i face,
Is, on what?

But no matter how much
I think, rethink and conclude,
The same intriguing question comes,
Back and back again.
Who am i? Who am i really?
And is the question worth the bargain?

THE CEILING

I was lying on the ground,
Staring at him,
Above or maybe he staring back at me,
With his bright pair of eyes he could see,
Maybe.
With his pair of whirling grinding teeth,
With a grin face, looking beneath.

He thinks he is proud,
Above me and everyone around,
But i could see the cracks that run down his face,
I could see the decay taking their pace.

Tiny droplets form on my forehead,
My thoughts getting blurred,
Mixed in the brackish sweat,
And the mood is getting marred.
As they run down my undulating terrain,
They form, deform and join,
To create a cocktail of feelings,
That finally falls on the ground,
Evaporates and is equally shared with him.

Now i know that u listen,
The cracks are nothing,
But all our sorrows lay written.
I see that grain of dust,
Falling from the cracks atlast,
Giving my cheeks a strange and uncomfy feeling.
In a way, its his own sorrows, revealing.

I wished to move away from there,
But yet i couldnt.
I feel the pain he bears,
As he watches over us with all his tears.
Somehow i am on the ground no more,
He comes close and tells me,"I couldnt take it anymore".

Then with thunderous sound,
I saw his sorrows branching,
After decades he says he is crying.
Then he comes down crumbling,
And i say," No you are not just a ceiling.
But a projection,
A projection of our subconscious feeling ".

THROUGH MY BROKEN WINDOW

Like a thousand scorched souls,
Scorched in the heat of oppression,
Neither bounded nor free, Roaming the vast emptiness of this deserted earth,
Thrown away and tossed between hell and heaven, Like the poles quarelling over a needle,
And finally sinking the sole existence of humanity, Into the vortex, into the utter abyss of darkness, despair, sorrow and remorse.

THE EXPERIENCE

The night's bright,
The road's empty.
Yet an unknown darkness,
Has shrouded the city.
The silvery light flooding the streets,
Is giving birth to a realm of shadows.
Running here and there,
Like a panic stricken flock,
Like an unknown fear chases them,
Draws them, closer to extinction.

Then a sudden cold breeze,
Storms in from nowhere.
Like its trying to snatch me away from myself.
Shaking my every root of existence.

Then i see my shadow hold my hand,
Giving me a strange company,
That i never felt before.
Strange yet comforting,
It kept me drawing.
Drawing, drawing towards nowhere,
Until i saw the last sign of human existence,
A window,
Giving off an eternal light,
A feeling of a better tomorrow,
A warmth unknown to me.

As i neared,
A strong stream of pulse swept through my veins,
Charged with life again.
Then a big thumping,
Very close to the heart.
Then all dark, pitch black.

Then a sudden bombardment of light,
Almost blinding me,
And the next thing i heard, "PATIENT SURVIVES".

MY LONELINESS(Incomplete)

Sometimes I feel lonely,
Sometimes I cry,
Sometimes a bloody devil,
sucks my blood dry,
theres sorrows in my heart,
That keeps gnawing in my brain.
all the blood thats in my spleen,
Keeps swirling through the drain.
And all time that I have lived,
seems meaningless to me.
And the crimson drops of blood,
Is all that I can see.
And I have sacrificed my soul,
For thousand times and more.
But He still keeps coming back,
Forever ever more.

TEN NIGHTS

Ten nights are gone in vain,
Ten nights to go.
Ten nights are yet to come,
Ten nights more!
Ten nights i lived in fear,
Ten nights i mourned.
Ten nights my blood went cold,
Ten nights it soared.
Ten nights my heart was sore,
Ten nights i have to live more.
Ten nights death knocked me many a score,
Ten nights i told him wait for ten nights more.
Ten nights went passed,
Yet another ten nights gone.
Ten nights is all i needed to feel,
Its a dream nothing more.

PARADOX

Wind was blowing hard,
Woke up, the sound of the hooting bird.
The doors nd windows wide open,
it was 2 o clock, a dark night then.
tik tok tik tok.
round nd round moved the clock.
till the air got thicker,
my sickening breath got sicker.

walked into my balcony.
felt a touch, never so bony.
A whisper, knocking at my eardrum.
"are u ready, the time has come".

a slight push, the fast drifting air.
no remorse, no despair.
darkness all around,
like, no more earth bound.

Then twice the bell was heard.
still the wind blew hard.........................

FINDING MYSELF DEAD

A dizzy feeling in my mind,
Gashes north breeze from behind.
Broken glasses here and there,
A robbery, i fear.
The dark hallway stood before,
Felt so scary never before.
Up the staircase, i had a feeling,
Down my soul, kept me pulling.
As i neared my childhood room,
Happy memories kept swirling like a fume.

Entering the room a bit slow,
Something whispered,"Look below".
A man lying on the floor,
Off this realm, he is no more!
Closing in, my blood went cold,
'Foolish, i'm only you', the bloody corpse told.
